CAMTEL Director Donates to Ndu Bike riders

Yeah Judith material assistance to Ndu  poineer association of Achaba riders was a well thought out and highly appreciated initiative that improves on the operation capacity of the riders. Beside the health benefits of the helmet and raincoats, it breeds,sanity, uniformity and security in the sector hitherto porous and  infected with criminals. Bechati village gets new Fon

Nkemtaji Elias Kedju 32 has been enthroned as the new Fon of Bechati village in Wabane Sub Division of Lebialem Division in the Southwest Region. The ceremony was well-attended, with over 5,000 people, including administrative and traditional authorities notable the fon of Bangang village , Fon of Nkong, Fon of Besali, Fon of Egumbo, fon of Bamumbu and representatives of Fon of Fumbe and Angong. Their presence at the ceremony was testament of their recognition and acceptance of the new Fon. Visitor at Bamenda Prisons ends up in prison

  Funyu, the only name we got is said to be an  X fighter who repented by dropping his gun since 2020. He paradoxically ended up as an inmate of Bamenda prison after an abortive attempt to traffic contraband cigarette.  He  reportedly  told the security that the content of his blastic bag was a tray of eggs he bought for   a  friend cagged at the Bamenda Central prison. After security checks the tray of egges were inversely something else.  The  tray of egges according to our source were rather  shells of eggs stock with some materials looking like canabies and carefully sealed with superglue. It is not clear if  this was a regular business or it was his first  attempt,  ever since he dropped his gun.   Fonyuy,  the lone name we got,is said to be a runaway Amba fighter from Nkar,Kumbo in Bui Division.  He is said to  have operated as fighter in Nkar ,Sop and Mbah  from 2019- 2020 before dropping the gun. The Norwegian Refugee Council has observed that Anglophones crisis is one the most neglected crisis in the world by International Communities. The NGO bases her observation  on three criteria, notably  the lack of humanitarian funding, media coverage, and political will from the international community. This is the third time that the Anglophone crisis has been ranked as one of the most neglected crises in the world. The 2024 report  of  the Norwegian Refugee Council unequivocal  claim that  the  Anglophone Crisis is  most neglected crises in the world, and in Africa in particular.  Cameroon tops this ranking, ahead of Burkina Faso. His official presentation at the helm Bokwoango village of Buea  took place  on  Thursday June 5th under the auspices of Buea  administration.  In a ceremony highly attended by civil society  leaders,political elites and the population of Buea subdivision, the Divisional Officer for Buea  exhorted him to be impartial in the exercise of his duties. Chief Albert Njie Mbonde has spent over 25 years  at the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV, where he is the current political desk editor, appointed in 2018. There is growing consternation in Makenene following an alleged strong dislike of  the Anglophones in that  parts of the centre region.   Anglophones, both from Northwest and southwest, settled in this area, both new and old, are reportedly being chased away from their homes and farm lands by indegence.  The decision to oust Anglophone francophnes from the area is allegedly endursed by their traditional ruler, whose name is not known by our source.   The decision by the traditional authority to empower his subjects to expell Anglophones from their village contravene the law of Cameroon which states that  all the land of the nation belongs to the state and all Cameroonians are free to settle and exploit the land where they are.  This call by the head of state has been abrogated. 2025 Presidential: Gov’t intensifies crackdown on Separatist Fighters

Following continues resistance  by the Armed separatists noted for killing of civilians, kidnapping for ransom,  appalled Human Rights abuses and stagnation of the economy of the restive Anglophone regions for nine years running, the stare has resolved to use   a ruthless  method to   end  the  insurgence before the organization of the Presidential in October 2025.  .   New security gadgets and a special military squad  will  soon to be deployed to Northwest and Southwest regions  to annihilate the  separatists.   The persistent insurrection and resistance by the separatist fighters for close to nine years has inversely been misconstrued for weakness of the state security, which is not true.  I highly placed security officer who debunked the claims by some pundits, explained that, what is going on the two Anglophone regions is not a war,  but an internal political uprising that does not warrant use of heavy or  conventional war weapons.      He expressed optimism that the ghost towns...

Adamawa GCE Exercise Marred by Examination Malpractices?

To guard against examination malpractices that culminated to sanctioning of some students, the interim GCE board registrar resolved that no candidate should be allowed into the examination hall after 8 am, immediately the writing exercise kick starts. Bamenda Wimbum community accompany Dr Nsame to bid farewell to fallen Hero

Dr Nsame Denis The residence of the Director of Bamenda Regional Hospital to was on Saturday February 15 transformed to a cultural nucleus following an influx of Wimbum traditional dances that turn out in their numbers to accompany the Director Nsame Denis to give the last goodbye to his father Pa Johnson Nforninwi Nfor alias “ Ta Lamntang” a Nfuh member who slept in the lord and Buried in Ndu Sub Division of Donga Mantung Division some months back. Pa Ta Lamntang Nforninwe was a venerated cultural luminary Wimbum in Yaounde Centre Region, before his passing onto glory. This explains why the Wimbum population of Bamenda had the moral duty to pair their last respect to the great fallen hero- Ta Lamntang Johnson Nforninwe .
