Fai WU NSEM, CHIEF Dr. Isidor Ghane The elevation of Dr. Isidor Ghane from modern traditional doctor to Fai Wu Nsem  is a testament not only to his administrative wisdom and spiritual magnanimity, but also to what many see as his divinely ordained mission to serve humanity. His official presentation to the Noni community and the public at the Regional Delegation of Basic Education for the Northwest Region was more than a ceremony. It became a vivid display of the cultural dynamism and unity of the Noni people living in Bamenda. The official presentation of Dr. Isidor Ghane to the public as Fai Wu Nsem was conducted by Kinengte Palace of Djottin. In a bold fusion of tradition and modernity, the Mayor of Ndu Council, Abdou Kanfon Borno has taken steps to strengthen ties between the municipality and its ancestral heritage. His recent decision to light up seven of the fifteen palaces of the municipality is a symbolic “thank you” and more as a reconnection with the ancestors of the land. Amba fighters killed 70 years old man for killing own sister own sister

On Wednesday night April 21, 2026 in Wat village Nkambe center subdivision in Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region, a man in his 70s is alleged to have stabbed Nkeh, his junior stepsister to death in a dispute over properties their late father left. He is said to have secretly broke into her sister's house the night breaking Thursday and carried out the heinous act. Because he has been giving death threats to the sister, the family and villagers saw him as the prime suspect. He was held spellbound and he confessed to have been behind the macabre act, revealing that the knife he used in killing the sister was thrown into a pit toilet in their compound. The demise of the temporal bridge mounted by BUNS to ease movement of pedestrian as they work on the mile 2 giant bridge has been blamed on Security challenges and Negligence. "There couldn't have been any death,if people listened to me". says one Pa Ngwa Athanatius who witnessed the carnage. Talking to the Vanguard Friday, March 23rd, Pa Ngwa said,i saw it happening.There were more than 20 people on the temporal bridge when it happened.
