Public Works Minister declares tarring of three major roads and more in Northwest Region

There was an  unimaginable euphoria at the conference hall Regional delegation of public works following the declaration of the tarring of three major roads in the region.
Public Works Minister Emmanuel Nganou Njoumessi was in the Northwest on Thursday March 19 to evaluate the level of work on the Urban crossing road ahead of the visit of Pope Louis XIV to the region. 


He noted with satisfaction the work so far done by  BUNS Construction Construction, but appeal for more acceleration to ensure usability or the road  before the arrival of the Pope. He declared that funds were ready to pay off the rest few who had not recieved compensation for the damages effected on their structures. 


Pivotal of his utterances was the declaration of the Tarring of 80 kilometres Bamenda- Wum road: Tarring of 31 kilometres Bamenda-Tudi Mbengwi : 62 kilometres Bamenda- Bambui, Ndop Babessi stretch of the National Road number 11 the (Ring Road), Misaje- Dumbu Besola frontier road  with Nigeria. 


The declaration a thunderous hand clap, an indication of total euphoria and satisfaction with  the services of the Ministry in the region. 
Northwest region has suddenly become a grand Chantier following a pl
ethora of roads work ongoing in the region.  
Beside  the ongoing construction works on tge   National Road number 11 stretching from  Kumbo squares to Misaje said to be at advanced stage,notably Ndu Nkambe said to be near completion, Babungo, Oku, Noni - Misaje,Bamenda town is currently witnessing construction of a sea of peripheral roads to link up to the urban crossing.

  This leaves no one in doubts that Bamenda and "Northwest is changing.  
Our future is getting brighter and we will witnessed an economic boom in the years ahead.  The Minister of Public Works Emmanuel Nganou Njoumessi has proven his love for the northwest.  He is truly a Grassfield man, conscious of our plight " Says Ngwa Peter . 
We have no reason to resist development despite our political differences.  Those who have ears to hear. Let them hear. He concluded. 


The Minister exhorted the population of the region to appropriate the projects to guarantee security and speedy execution of the projects meant to improve on the  economic and social wellbeing of the population.  The project is yours and people should collaborate with the state to ease the development of the region.  He said.
