Mayor Ntoh Daniel pledges commitment to transformation of municipality



The Mayor of Ndop Council ,Dr. Ntoh Daniel Belengka, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the development, stability, and transformation of the  municipality. 
Mayor Ntoh Daniel declared his poised to give the municipality  more visibility  and an admirable face during the council Administrative, Management, and stores accounts session held at the conference hall of Ndop council on Monday  March 23th to take stock of the activities of the council.

The exercise aimed  assessing the strength and weakness is mandatory as it allows for judicious  management of councils resources the Senior Divisional Officer for Ngoketunjia  Duetong  Handerson Kongeh  remarked, while exhorting the authorities to continually work in the interest of the municipality. The  70.93 % exhaustion of the 2026 budget  estimated at FCFA  752,654,043 million was an indication of the assiduity and probity in the management of the council resources in spite

The  commendable performance of the council is reflective of the  assiduity, discipline, and unwavering commitment of the municipal  authorities to the development of the  municipality ,he noted. 


Mayor Ntoh said   his vision is not limited  to figures, but  papable transformation of the municipality via impactful initiation and execution life transforming projects, aligning the performing  and  competitive   spirit enshrine in the council to measure with others.

He expressed joy of the selection of his council for the PROLOG programme. Mayor Ntoh further expressed optimism that 
" Ndop council is on the path of excellence at the national level." 
Ntoh Daniel further expressed joy that their Civil Status department has been ranked second best in the region  apparently due to the people and result oriented administration of the municipality. 


The creation of a sub branch of the service at the Ndop District Hospital is a testament of  people centered administration.
He boosted that the transformation of Ndop municipality is no longer an illusion but a reality following the plethora of projects carried out in the municipality in spite the security challenges. 

Electrification of Njinkaka quarter in Bamessing 

He cited the realisation of  water supply schemes, construction of schools, provision of street lights ,road works, construction of bridges, etc, as  some of the projects realised in spite the socio-political  brouhaha that has plagued the region for ten years running.

Given the Turkish government support,he expressed optimism that they will carry out more development projects, including the  CEAC Centre and  Vulnerable people centre.

 The councilors and the population also expressed optimism that the council is on the right path giving the remarkable changes and the sea of development projects realised by the council with a very short and toxic environment. 
In attendance ,was the political baobab of the Municipality, Hon Njingum Musa who hailed the municipality authorities for a job well.  He exhorted the population to corroborate the councilors and the administration to ensure peace and realisation of more projects in the municipality.

NW MINHD Delegate warns contractors against poor execution of Contracts
