Honourable Verla Fostine MP for  Jakiri special constituency who doubles WCPDM Bui IV section president  is one of a few female members of parliament who has persistently shown concern for both militants of her party and the vulnerable population  in the northwest region.  Ever since she became a parliamentarian for Jakiri, her presence has been felt severally by the population and more especially the internally displaced population of her constituency.

To reinforce the strength of the party ahead of   2026 twin she on Saturday February 14, held a strategic meeting with the execution of the party to accertain the solidify of the party  ahead of the election. Also taking into consideration the importance of women's day to her party militants  she donated women's day fabric to her section executive  .
The  executive meeting she told militants was to  avoid feeding the fowl  on the day it would be taken to the market.
The meeting was thus an avenue for stock taking and accessing the  strength and weakness of the party to right the   wrongs before the  election.
The enthusiastic participants  made papable contributions that would reinforce their outreach to new militants and reinforce the party grip on Bui IV.
Dwelling on the current political brouhaha responsible for the social and economic meltdown of the region, they brainstormed on a new ways forward to mitigating the stalemate to allow for more a tranquil political exercise.
The Member of Parliament Hon. Verla Fostine appreciated the executive for braving the odds to attend the meeting. This she acknowledged was a sign of their unwavering commitment to the future of the party in Jakiri.
The CPDM Section president for Bui IV, Hon. Wirngo Buba Kibo, who doubles as the Mayor of Jakiri municipality ,lauded the women for their tiredless devotion to the activities of their party .
He said  the party can only triumph in  the upcoming elections if they both speak with one voice and desist from unnecessary distraction. Not every noise deserves your attention, and not every drumbeat requires dancing. He said.
He reminded them that the electoral period is a delicate period in the life of a political party. Reasons why they all have to work in unison to guarantee the victory of the party in the entire constituency.

He further exhorted them to desist from international mayhem, which could lead to cracks within the party thus creating an enabling environment for their political opponents. When two brothers fight, the stranger reaps the harvest. It should be recalled.
