Ngoketunjia political guru Hon Njingum Musa has been elected vice president of African parliamentarians Network on Development Evaluation (APNODE).

He was elected during the 10th Annual meeting of the network held from the 19 to 21 November 2025 in Rabat Morrocco .

 The election
coincided with the 11th anniversary of APNODE.coincides with an election year and marks the 11th anniversary of APNODE.
APNODE has for more than a decade strength the capacity of African parliamentarians in public policy evaluation and overseeing good governance actions.

This year's theme focused on "leveraging tool for improving public policy evaluation for inclusive governance".
The event saw a high-level panel discussions, interactive capacitybuilding sessions and policy dialogues.
Other issues discussed at the AGM were the review and approval of the minutes of the 9th AGM; the election of the Executive Committee for the period 2025-2027; the presentation of the evaluation report on APNODE's previous strategic plan, with recommendations for the new Strategic Plan for 2026-2030 and the examination of the proposed amendments to the constitution and a strategic round table captioned "Public Policy Evaluation", Shared Competence.

The meeting also enabled members and diplomatic  institutions drawn from the west and African continent to reflect on the  achievements  APNODE for the past decade, addressing  current challenges and defining  the future direction of our network. 



Hon Njingum Musa is known for his succinct inputs, engagement and palpable contributions in  advancing APNODE's mission  of  strengthening  parliamentary capacity, promoting  evidence-based policymaking, and fostering collaboration across the continent.
The main mission  of APNODE  is to strengthen the capacity of African parliamentarians for quality oversight, policymaking, and national decision-making by ensuring appreciation, demand, and utilization of evaluations in their daily work.             
 In this regard, the Network  serves as a platform through which members share information, knowledge, and  experiences to experience the experience of others. APNODE also facilitates trainings, dialogue,  forums, learning events facilitating  networking opportunities for parliamentarians, facilitating the participation of African MPs in international evaluation forums while encouraging knowledge captured for wider dissemination amongst its stakeholders. Considering that parliamentarians are but one among many players in national evaluation systems, APNODE  focuses  more on collaboration and partnerships.
Two other MPs from Cameroon voted into the executive of APNODE includes  Hon. Pokossy Elise Doumbe and Hon. Kwarmba Solange.

Before his election as vice president  of the structure, Hon Njingum Musa has  been a member of the executive since 2021.Other MPs and Senators in attendance were Hon. Versa Fostine,Hon. Peter Njume,Senators  Enwe Francis ,Hon Bell and a host others.

Hon. Njingum Musa's elevation to the position of Vice  president of APNODE, according to  pundits is a well deserved position that gives Cameroon a more reputed firm in international politics,given his assiduity , aptitude in national and international politics.  He has been winners of many national Media Merit  awards for nation building ,promoting of peace and National unity and intagration.

NW MINHD Delegate warns contractors against poor execution of Contracts

The newly appointed Regional Delegate for Housing and Urband Development, John Paul Njosi  warns Contractors  executing  MINHDU projects in the region   against lopsided work.  Reacting complains raised by some stakeholders during a coordination ,he urged  the Divisional  Delegates and  Regional service heads to take responsibility and total  control over MINHDU projects in the region ensure  quality  work and respect of time line  execution of MINHDU projects in the region .
