Senator Ngafeeson Emmanuel Donates to Students and Pupils








Senator  Ngafesson Emmanuel Bantar 

As a mark of patriotism and giving  back to the community what the community had given him,  Hon. Senator Ngafeeson Emmanuel  Bantar,  recently donated a consignment of exercise  books, schools bags, pens pencils  and other didactic materials  to over sixty two pupils and students  from diverse schools  of Talla Village of Ndu Sub Division in Donga Mantung Division.


 His material aid is a stitch on time to most families   faced with the challenge of school resumption.  It is worth noting that acquisition of school needs for children has  become an uphill task  for most parents in the   Northwest and Southwest  regions , given  Anglophone political brouhaha that has stagnated economic activities of the two regions for nine years running.     
Parents who hitherto,   depended exclusively on subsistence farming as a source of livelihood have virtually become baggers’ and paupers in most villages and towns of the restive regions.


  The month of September (school resumption month) comes with increase in  Blood Pressure to parents especially under privilege families who could barely afford for daily  meals .  It is on this note that the  material aid to school children was was highly appreciated by the beneficiaries and their parents as well.

Most of them almost shed tears of joy upon reception of the material assistance that was going to drastically reduce the burden of their parents at this crucial moment of school reception.  
From every indication, the quality of the schools bags and the didactic material were of  superior quality .It was the first time  for them  possessing  such quality school bags and other didactic  material.  
   The  Sub chief of Mbibi palace, host of the event, at his esplanade,expressed gratitude to  Senator Ngafeeson Emmanuel for extending a hand of fellowship to the needy children to support  parents in the school needs .
 Apart from it being a show of gratitude and patriotism, the  gestures goes beyond simple commitment to the development of the village, it is a remarkable charity and demonstration  of  commitment to the future  of the  children of the village in spite the socio –political setbacks posing a threat to the future of them. 


Only those who know the worth of education invest in school children. The  only eternal treasure a parent can give a child is education.  He said.  “The only weapon we can use to change the world is education”. Says the Late South African President Nelson Mandela. It should be recalled. 
 He seized the opportunity  to exhort the students to show proof their appreciation to the Senator via   hard work and success in their examinations.   He told them that the Senator will only be spurred to invest more in them if they are assiduous and exhibit moral rectitude    as they go to school.

While also urging  them to be more committed in their academics work  to become Parliamentarians, Senators, Ministers etc,  he cautioned  that vandalism  as it has no place in our society.  Only well behaved children end up   succeeding in life.

The beneficiaries who were visibly overwhelmed with joy chanted appreciation songs to the Senator  while also promising to judiciously and tenaciously use the material aid. They  appealed to  God to bountifully bless him, give him good Health and more wisdom to continually invest in the education of the children of the village. The  best human investment that guarantees  the development  and future of their  beloved village.   .

Bechati village gets new Fon

Nkemtaji Elias Kedju 32 has been enthroned as the new Fon of Bechati village in Wabane Sub Division of Lebialem Division in the Southwest Region. The ceremony was well-attended, with over 5,000 people, including administrative and traditional authorities notable the fon of Bangang village , Fon of Nkong, Fon of Besali, Fon of Egumbo, fon of Bamumbu and representatives of Fon of Fumbe and Angong. Mayor caged at Kondengui for FCFA 190 milion Scam

Some municipal authorities have transformed the councils to private enterprises from where they enrich themselves at the expense of the population. The heavy arm of the law is hovering over them . A highly placed source has hinted The Vanguard. "Kondengui Central Prison awaits many of them.It has just started with the shocking news of embezzlement of public funds to the tune of 190 million involving mayor Bikoula Bekono of Mefou-et Afamba council in Centre region.Many of them will follow before the Legislative and Municipal elections ".
