Senator Enow Ema Lafon Donates Farm inputs to Nkor Farmers



Some seventeen registered farmers groups will in the days ahead revieve a consignment of farm inputs donated by the Senator for Bui Division ,ENOW Ema lafon. The mayor of Nkor Council Nchanji Germanous who recieved the package made up of watering cans ,sprayers ,hoe's etc, expressed gratitude to the Senator , while promising judicious use of the material. In an exclusive chat with The Vanguard Newspaper,the Mayor expressed optimism that the farmer inputs was going to boost farm yields and step up the standards of living of the populationof his municipality. " with improve farm yields, the population will be able to settle their medical bills, send children to schools etc". I am particularly very grateful to the Senator for her motherly love she has for Nkor Council in particular. Besides the farm inputs, she has earlier on donated computers and text books to schools of Nkor municipality".Mayor Nchanji seized. Germanous urged the Senator to extend the same hand of fellowship to other areas of Bui Division. He was particularly very impressed with the senator's interest in agriculture as " Nkor is the Agricultural bassin of Bui Division. He expressed joy that the material aid will boost living standards of his population.

Bechati village gets new Fon

Nkemtaji Elias Kedju 32 has been enthroned as the new Fon of Bechati village in Wabane Sub Division of Lebialem Division in the Southwest Region. The ceremony was well-attended, with over 5,000 people, including administrative and traditional authorities notable the fon of Bangang village , Fon of Nkong, Fon of Besali, Fon of Egumbo, fon of Bamumbu and representatives of Fon of Fumbe and Angong. Mayor caged at Kondengui for FCFA 190 milion Scam

Some municipal authorities have transformed the councils to private enterprises from where they enrich themselves at the expense of the population. The heavy arm of the law is hovering over them . A highly placed source has hinted The Vanguard. "Kondengui Central Prison awaits many of them.It has just started with the shocking news of embezzlement of public funds to the tune of 190 million involving mayor Bikoula Bekono of Mefou-et Afamba council in Centre region.Many of them will follow before the Legislative and Municipal elections ". A source who pleaded anonymity hinted.
