New NW Public Works Delegate calls Collaboration to accelerate Road works in the Region.



Nfor Cyprain Ngenge made the appeal shortly after the technical handing over that saw the heavy presence of the Regional Heads, Economic Operators, and the general public . The out gone Delegate Paul Ngwaimbi was honoured with traditional regalia and a stool in appreciation for the legacy he leaves in the region. He is one of the finest,assiduous refined and accommodative civil engineers of the Republic, just like his successor . Both of them have been winners of media merit awards, notably The Vanguard International Icon Award, Watchdog, amongst others. It is hoped that the legacy left by Paul will hit the sky given that the new delegate fits squarely in the shoe of Paul.
It is mandatory on the population of the region to shun back stabing ,slander, and unnecessary social and political brouhaha and corroborate the new delegate to enable him to accomplish his assigned development task on record time. The ministry he says has invested so much and still has to do more for the region ,but collaboration to check security challenges is CAPITAL. "Projects allocated to the region can not be realised on record time if the population does not assist in the security of the companies and the workers. We good roads, movement and transportation of farm produce will be much easier ". Nfor Cyprain Ngenge, intimated. Before his appointment as Regional Delegate of Public Works for Northwest Region, Nfor Cyprain was Interim Sub director in charge of road protection and assets and formerly. Sub Director of the Western Road network, Department of Road assets, maintenance and protection in the Ministry of public works, covering Litoral Region, SouthWest ,West, and Northwest Regions. He started his career in the Northwest Region as Chief of Technical Service at the Divisional Delegation of Public Works Mezam, he was later tranfered in same capacity to the Divisional Delegation of public works for Sanaga Maritime, litoral region,served as
Divisional Delegate of public works for Meme South West Region. He later moved to Yaounde as Chief of Studies at Special Project unit Department of Construction in the Ministry of Public Works. He again metamorphosed to Sub director in charge of preparing and programming of projects at the National Force Account brigade in the Ministry of public works,

Bechati village gets new Fon

Nkemtaji Elias Kedju 32 has been enthroned as the new Fon of Bechati village in Wabane Sub Division of Lebialem Division in the Southwest Region. The ceremony was well-attended, with over 5,000 people, including administrative and traditional authorities notable the fon of Bangang village , Fon of Nkong, Fon of Besali, Fon of Egumbo, fon of Bamumbu and representatives of Fon of Fumbe and Angong. Mayor caged at Kondengui for FCFA 190 milion Scam

Some municipal authorities have transformed the councils to private enterprises from where they enrich themselves at the expense of the population. The heavy arm of the law is hovering over them . A highly placed source has hinted The Vanguard. "Kondengui Central Prison awaits many of them.It has just started with the shocking news of embezzlement of public funds to the tune of 190 million involving mayor Bikoula Bekono of Mefou-et Afamba council in Centre region.Many of them will follow before the Legislative and Municipal elections ". A source who pleaded anonymity hinted.
