Mezam 1 C CPDM Grants scholarship to over 100 students

The only weapon we can use  to change the world is education. Says late South African President Nelson Mandela. And, the only eternal treasure a parent can give a child is education. He, who invests in education of children, propels them to greatness.






The northwest is one of the regions of Cameroon that is blessed with billionaires.

 Inversely, very few of them have the zeal to extend a hand of fellowship to the needy, school children and under-privilege families. “Blessed are the hands that give. And only a life lived for others, is a life worth living”. The Bible says.


It is on this premise that the CEO of Big “G” Mzeka Gilbert Chinwi’s benevolence has been appreciated by those who witnessed the scholarship grant to over one hundred students and pupils. Beside liquid cash granted to students who excelled in the 2024- 2025 GCE examination results and class  examinations, exercise books, ledgers, pens, pencils etc were also shared to all students and pupils in attendance.


The recent outing by Mzeka Gilbert who doubles as the Sub Section President of CPDM Mezam 1 C, Sisia- Nkwen Bamenda Northwest region, gives meaning to politics.
His benevolence knows no bound as many attested haven received countless assistance from him even before the outbreak of the Anglophone political brouhaha.


Some beneficiaries especially the internally displaced persons described him as “ a redeemer assigned by God Almighty to come to their aid”. Remarked one Madam Regina Kinsai whose daughter benefited from the scholarship grant.




She expressed delight that the financial assistance and the didactic material will  reduce the stress inherent in school resumption. I am a widow, my husband died in the Anglophone crisis, leaving behind six children for me to single handedly take care of .

Gilbert ,While assuring the students and pupils of his unwavering support,  he appealed for judicious use of the scholarship  and didactic  materials. The sub Section President also  exhort   them  to  be committed  in their academic work to spur him  continually assist them.   He was optimistic that the days ahead is promising, given the gradual return to normalcy in the region.  


He  was corroborated by the Section president  for CPDM Mezan 1 C Section President, Ndaka  Nicolas who affirmed  the benevolence of  Mzeka Gilbert Chenwi , his Sub section president.
 He supported  Gilbert in his appeal for judicious use of aid , to spur him in his drive for a better tomorrow for them, ( future leaders ).   
“ if he ( Gilbert ) can be this benevolent with the little he has, one can imagine what he can do to the entire population of the division if he is given the opportunity govern”.

 He said.  
Only very few elite of the region, have the culture of sharing or assisting  those  in need ,he said.  He said.  He also promised his unwavering collaboration and assistance to Gilbert when needs arises.   The occasion ended with fanfare and a note of hope. Mzeka Gilbert Chinwe alias “Biggest G” is also an accomplished business tycoon.

Bechati village gets new Fon

Nkemtaji Elias Kedju 32 has been enthroned as the new Fon of Bechati village in Wabane Sub Division of Lebialem Division in the Southwest Region. Mayor caged at Kondengui for FCFA 190 milion Scam

Some municipal authorities have transformed the councils to private enterprises from where they enrich themselves at the expense of the population. The heavy arm of the law is hovering over them . A highly placed source has hinted The Vanguard. "Kondengui Central Prison awaits many of them.It has just started with the shocking news of embezzlement of public funds to the tune of 190 million involving mayor Bikoula Bekono of Mefou-et Afamba council in Centre region.Many of them will follow before the Legislative and Municipal elections ".
