Ndu Mayor Cautions Population against food poisoning



The mayor of Ndu council,Elh Abdou Karfon Borno has cautioned the population of Ndu subdivision in Donga Mantung Division against poor treatment of grasshoper .
With the coming of the grasshopper in this month of November ,  warns  that those involved in the  harvesting and commercialisation of the grasshopper should  be  prudent  in  the processing of the insects  to avoid  food poisoning that most often imanate from poor preparation, handling and/or storage of the insects. 

He  recommended thourough  washing of  the grasshoppers for  at least three times before seasoning and marketing, in order to protect the potential consumers from healthhazards.

The mayor further expressed hopes that the population is conscious of the devastating effect of use of chemicals in the  harvesting of the grasshoppers.

Mines and Technological Developments minister visit Tiko Mineral water company

The Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Professor FUH CALISTUS  GENTRY Thursday October 24, visited   PRISTINE SASU, mineral water production company.  Besides mineral water,the company also produce  soft drinks, and dairy drinks.      It is located in the Tiko subdivision in the Southwest Region. The company  reportedly have an annual production capacity of 500,000 hectolitres of beverages. While lauding the promoter of this structure for the initiative ,the Minister of mines  expressed  wish for the region to emerge as the new industrial hob  of the country and a preferred destination for new  investors. Ndu Mayor Condemns Assassination of a Couple in Sop village
