Ndu Mayor Condemns Assassination of a Couple in Sop village

Flabagaste by the recent murder of a couple in Sop, a village of Ndu Sub Division, the mayor of Ndu council Elh Abdou Karfon Borno knight of Cameroon Order of Valour, a pacifist renowned for his strife for peace, unity and ceaseless fight against insecurity has challenged the authorities that be - Administration,Defence and Security Forces to put an end to the repeated killings of armless civilians of Sop Village.

This is contained in a letter addressed to the Administration of Ndu was the one that was in the shower and then I'll be home in a few days ago were you thinking of going to the store and the other one is a very busy week of November and of Ndu Sub division is of of Ndu Sub Division dated Tuesday 1 October 2024.

Pa Mango George Nyako was shot with a local gun and the wife,stabbed in many places.She was rushed to the Sop health center,but couldn't survive due to excessive bleeding,given the numerous wounds inflicted on her.

The call for reinforcement of security in the sub Division comes on the heals of the  assassination of a couple Mr,/Mrs Mango George Nyako  recently by some murderers. The same assins are said have earlier on killed Shey Baa,Shey Alidou. and Mango George and wife  making a total of four  in  separate attacks.

He expressed disgust that

"It is with a heavy heart that they learned of yet another heinous attack in Sop village (in the night resulting in the killing of a couple in cold blood"

He recalled that Sop village has been a victim of repeated attacks leading to looting, destruction of property and gruesome killings under very disturbing circumstances.

expected to show his administrative enginiuity by restoring peace and security of his administrative unit .

Mayor Abdou Karfon condemned in very strong terms, the recent attack that resulted to the tragic lost of lives, (a couple).

The prevailing situation in Sop, he went on, "is a stain on our white garment. It doesn't resemble us as a people" .It's a deep wound on our collective consciences". He lamented.

"We crave the indulgence of the powers that be , the Defence and Security forces to redouble efforts in their hunt for the culprits so that they may face the full arm of the law".

The mayor expressed wish for the Administration to take robust measures against this deteriorating security situation in Sop village to absolve the population from the stigma of insecurity.

He also urged the population to remain calm, vigilant and continue to collaborate with the Defence and Security forces for enable them fish out the culprits of the macabre acts.

Pathetic burial of the couple

The mayor maid clarion call to people of goodwill across Ndu Municipality without restriction to joint them in their prayers for resilience and strength equal to the challenges faced by the people of his municipality. He trusts in God, "We shall overcome" .God willing.

He prayed God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this loss to be able to move on, inspite all odds.
