The North West Region has finalized its electoral college for the upcoming regional elections with 1,451 accredited electors drawn from municipal councils and the traditional chieftaincy. The statistics, published by Elections Cameroon ELECAM North West, outline the distribution of voters mandated by Section 243 of the Electoral Code, which requires municipal councillors to elect divisional delegates through indirect universal suffrage, while traditional rulers choose their representatives through peer elections. Boyo records 175 electors made up of 108 municipal councillors and 67 traditional rulers. Bui follows with 253 electors, including 188 councillors and 65 rulers. Northwest contractors have exhorted to scrupoliusly respect technical specifications in the execution of public works projects to avoid sactions and waste of resources.
